So here is how this goes for me. I am 34 years old, 5’6” and 150lbs. I’m skinny by my eyes and have really thin legs with a small but average belly. I have been going to the gym for almost a year now and on a fairly regular basis. Talking Monday thru Saturday with Sunday being my “rest day”. I have seen minimal if any gains in my muscle size or weight I am able to lift. I try to lift as heavy as I can as much as I can. Hearing and reading stories that say if you lift big you get big. Well, I don’t seem to be getting any bigger or able to lift any heavier. So more research on the internet says that your diet has a huge part to do with your muscle gains and over all health, as if we all haven’t heard that a hundred times before right. So I have downloaded food diaries and trackers for daily food intake and total macro breakdown for my viewing pleasure and to make sure I am eating as healthy as I can and that I am getting the proper daily intake of vitamins and proteins and all the other wholesome goodness I need. My daily calorie intake is around 2400 - 2800 calories a day with a protein intake of 150+ grams per day. With no gains visible to me I have now set out on a quest to find something to help aid in my quest for bigger and stronger muscles. Everywhere I have read says that GNC is a ripoff and their stuff doesn’t work. I have read that your body needs a minimum of one gram of protein per pound of lean muscle to keep building muscles and to get bigger. So I guess my question is this. I have a good diet albeit not perfect and I workout a min. of an hour a day 6 days a week. Is there something other then steroids I can buy legally that will help with the building of muscles and strength?
